La battuta delle mani
L’ esercizio gioco è molto divertente e un po’ chiassoso: viene svolto in classe da tutti i bambini contemporaneamente e può essere fatto oralmente con gran loro divertimento fin dal secondo giorno di scuola (per un tempo non superiore ai 10 minuti)
Il gioco consiste nella “battuta” di parole (bisillabe: RANA, CANE, LUCE, VELA, VADO, TATO, TATA, meglio se suggerite dai bambini stessi, ecc.), scandite ad alta voce, battendo con forza ambedue le mani sul tavolo (ai bambini piace molto) per distinguere la prima sillaba o la vocale e invece battendo le mani tra loro per distinguere la seconda sillaba o la consonante.
Dapprima si batteranno le sillabe intere: RA-NA. In un secondo momento con la scansione precisa di VOCALE (battuta sul banco) e CONSONANTE (le mani tra loro).
La distinzione viene facilitata dal ritmo stesso delle parole (prima semplici bisillabe e poi trisillabe ) e dal fatto che viene svolta insieme ai compagni.
Tale fase “parlata” e “agita” precede quella della scrittura/lettura di semplici parole bisillabe e trisillabe, conquistate mano a mano con il concertino e con la scrittura iconica, ma può essere ripresa in qualunque momento per correggere qualche errore.
Si potranno scrivere alla lavagna (in modo da invogliare i bambini alla lettura) le parole da scandire segnandovi sotto i simboli di punto (vocale) e linea (consonante) .
In tale caso è opportuno scrivere un massimo di cinque parole e poi farle scandire più volte con il “ritmo del treno”, cioè prima molto lentamente e poi via via, ogni volta che si ripete, sempre più velocemente, è piuttosto divertente!
Questa ultima modalità costringe i bambini anche ad un positivo autocontrollo, in quanto tutta la serie di parole dovrà, di volta in volta, conservare la stessa “velocità”.
E' opportuno ripetere la sequenza (di tre velocità circa) non più di due, tre volte.
E’ importante non sottolineare mai l’errore, tanto prima o poi verrà corretto!
